IFALPA MEETINGS & EVENTS

The IFALPA Runway Safety Team Coor-
dinator Course was held 21-22 October
in Algiers, Algeria. Kindly hosted by SPLA
(Syndicat Des Pilotes de Ligne Algeriens) the
course was facilitated by IFALPA experts and
covered intermediate and advanced topics
on runway safety.

Participants learned key skills to effectively
represent pilots as they work with airport
operators, ATC, regulators, and other stake-
holders to improve safety at and around the
airport. IFALPA looks forward to planning
the next Runway Safety Team Coordinator
course.
