Asking for CPDLC Log-on

CPDLC, or Controller-Pilot Datalink Communications has been in use since the
early 2000s and is still far from its original goal of allowing a secondary mean of
communications between pilots and controllers for all aircraft.
Victor Jagasits of Eurocontrol Maastricht UAC shares the the air traffic controller’s
point of view of this system.
